2 c. brown sugar 2/3 c. milk 1/8 tsp. salt 1 tsp. vanilla 4 tbsp. butter r butter 1/2 c. walnut meats (cut fine) Mix the ingredients in a covered pan. Boil slowly until a little dropped into cold water forms a soft ball (234 degrees). Cool. Beat until creamy. Add vanilla and nut meats. Pour into a buttered shallow aluminum pan. Cool. Cut into squares. |
