SQUASH CASSEROLE 
1-2 lbs. yellow squash, boiled and mashed
2/3 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
20 crackers, crushed
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. cheddar cheese, shredded

Boil and mash squash; add milk, egg, salt and pepper and crackers (crushed) and mix well. If mixture appears to be too wilt, add more crackers. Pour into casserole dish (basted with butter); sprinkle cheese on top and bake at 350 degrees for 20 minutes.
