STUFFED CABBAGE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/4 c. matzoh meal or bread crumbs
1/2 c. rice
1 egg
1/4 tsp. salt
Cabbage leaves (12-14)
1 onion
1/4 c. lemon juice
1/2 c. sugar
1 can tomato sauce
1/2 c. water

Remove leaves from cabbage and put in large pot of boiling water for 5 minutes.

Combine meat, matzoh meal, rice, egg and salt. Put meat in each cabbage leaf, fold in sides to cover meat; roll. Place rolls in large pot with open side down.

Combine onion, lemon juice, sugar, tomato sauce and water. Pour over cabbage. Cover and simmer 1 1/2 hours.
