INDIAN CORN STEW | |
2 onions, chopped fine 2 green peppers, chopped or (one big bell pepper) 2 tbsp. butter 2 lbs. or more of ground beef 2 cans whole kernel corn (yellow) drained 2 cans cream of tomato soup 2 tbsp. of sugar, black pepper, salt to taste 2 tbsp. of flour blended with 2 tbsp. cold water Cook onions and peppers with butter for 5 minutes. Add meat and allow to brown. Add corn, soup, sugar, salt and pepper. Simmer for 15 minutes. Stir in flour and water, cook for 5 minutes. Delicious with cornbread or main dish. |
