1 vanilla bean
2 c. water
3 c. sugar
2 oz. instant coffee
1/4 of brandy

Boil water and sugar 5 minutes. Add instant coffee. Remove from heat and cool. Mix in brandy and vanilla bean. Bottle it and let rest for 4 weeks.
