SEASONED RICE 
To 1 cup rice, add 2 tablespoons bouillon crystals, 1 teaspoon coarse salt, 1 teaspoon coarse pepper, 1/2 teaspoon paprika, 1 teaspoon garlic powder, 1/4 teaspoon curry powder. Stir together and pack in lidded jars or zip-top plastic bags. I used to make small sacks from cloth scraps and tie each with a recipe attached. Cook as for regular boiled rice.

This can also be made with chicken bouillon crystals. Substitute onion powder for garlic, and thyme or herbs for paprika and curry powder.
