GREEN CASSEROLE 
3 tbsp. butter
3/4 c. chopped onion
1 lb. Swiss chard
1 tbsp. flour
4 pkgs. frozen chopped spinach, thawed and squeezed dry
1 1/2 c. heavy cream
3/4 tsp. each salt, pepper, garlic powder and seasoned salt

Melt butter in casserole (in microwave) on high. Add onion, cook until translucent. Add Swiss chard (washed, discard stems, chop leaves) and cover with plastic leaving one corner vented. Microwave on high for 3 minutes. Toss with flour. Add spinach, cream, salt and pepper. Microwave 3 more minutes. Stir, cook 2 minutes longer. Add garlic powder and seasoned salt (to your taste). Serves 16. May be made day or two ahead and reheated in oven.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
