CAROB COOKIES 
1/2 c. butter
3/4 c. raw sugar
1 egg
2 tbsp. molasses, optional
1 1/2 c. whole rye flour
1/4 c. soy flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 c. carob powder
1/4 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 350 degrees. Grease two cookie sheets. In a medium sized bowl cream butter and sugar. Add egg and molasses; beat. Stir in the remaining dry ingredients and mix thoroughly. Drop by teaspoonful onto the greased sheets. Bake for 8-10 minutes until nicely brown on the bottom.
