CANNED ROAST BEEF 
1 flat round can beef, drain
1 1/2 c. flour on paper towel
1 c. Crisco
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. water

Empty roast beef in large bowl. Take out chunks of beef and roll in flour a piece at a time and drop in hot Crisco. Let brown quickly. Take out. You may have to add a little more Crisco for gravy.

Add 3 heaping tablespoons flour to pan you browned the beef and let the flour brown. Then add broth and water to make a medium gravy. If too thick add more water.

Serve with hot biscuits, Creamed Potatoes, English Peas and Fruit Salad.

GOOD AND QUICK.

NOTE: Stew beef can be used in place of canned beef. Cook stew beef until tender with 1 tablespoon vinegar in water to tenderize.
