MAPLE WALNUT APPLE CRISP 
1/3 c. flour
1/2 c. packed light brown sugar
1/3 c. regular oats
1/4 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 c. chilled butter, cut in small pieces
3 tbsp. chopped walnuts
7 c. sliced apples (3 lb.; Rome, Gala or Granny Smith)
1/4 c. maple syrup
1/2 tsp. cinnamon

Preheat oven to 375°F. Lightly spoon flour into a dry measuring cup; level with a knife. Combine flour, sugar, oats and 1/4 teaspoon cinnamon in a medium bowl; cut in butter until crumbly. Stir in walnuts. Combine apple and remaining ingredients in a large bowl; toss well. Spoon apple mixture into an 8-inch square baking dish or 1 1/2-quart casserole. Sprinkle with crumb mixture.

Bake at 375°F for 45 minutes or until golden brown. Serve warm (with ice cream!). Contains 208 calories.
