GLAMOROUS RICE RING 
1 c. white rice
2 c. water
1 tsp. salt

1. Bring water and salt to a boil. Stir in rice.

2. Cover pan, lower heat and simmer 20 minutes or until tender and all the water is absorbed. Makes 3 cups of fluffy white rice.

3. Combine cooked rice and 1/4 cup snipped parsley (add pimentos if desired.)

4. Press lightly in greased 5 1/2 cup ring mold. Unmold at once on platter. Fill with creamed mixture or vegetables.
