CRACKLIN' CORN BREAD 
1 1/2 c. cornmeal
1/2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 c. cracklins
1 1/2 c. milk
1 egg, beaten
1/2 tsp. salt

Sift together cornmeal, flour, baking powder and salt. In another bowl, combine beaten egg, milk and the cracklins. Combine with dry ingredients; beat well and pour into greased pan. Bake in a moderate oven until done. Should be brown.
