LAYERED PEA SALAD 
Chopped lettuce (about 1/2 head)
1/2 c. sliced green onions
1 (10 oz.) pkg. frozen peas
1 (8 oz.) can water chestnuts, drained & sliced

DRESSING:

2 c. mayonnaise
1 tsp. MSG salt
1/2 c. grated Parmesan cheese
1/4 tsp. garlic powder (may omit)

Layer first 4 ingredients in a 9 x 13 inch glass pan. Spread dressing over top. Cover and chill 24 hours. Just before serving sprinkle 4 or 5 chopped hard cooked eggs, 3/4 pound bacon, cooked and crumbled and diced tomatoes over top.
