CHRISTMAS SALAD 
1 lg. box cherry Jello
1 c. cold water
1 to 1 1/2 c. cottage cheese
1 c. hot water
1 can cherry pie filling

Dissolve Jello in boiling water. Add cold water. Mix well. Stir in pie filling and cottage cheese. Pour into 9 x 13 inch casserole. Chill until firm. 1/4 c. mayonnaise Candy sprinkles 1 c. confectioners' sugar 2-3 drops green food coloring

Mix Cool Whip, sugar, and mayonnaise. Use food coloring in drops to reach desired tint. Spread over Jello. Sprinkle on candy. Makes 12-16 servings.
