TROPICAL BARBECUED RIBS 
Season ribs and brown in oven 350 to 400 degrees for 30 minutes. Then pour sauce over ribs. Cover and bake until tender.

SAUCE:

1 c. water
1 c. brown sugar, packed
3 tbsp. catsup
1 tbsp. soy sauce
1 tsp. dry mustard
1 c. crushed pineapple
2 tbsp. bell pepper flakes or fresh
1 tbsp. cornstarch, dissolved in 1/4 c. water

Mix 1 cup water and brown sugar. Add catsup, soy sauce, dry mustard, pineapple and pepper flakes. Bring to a boil and simmer 10 minutes. Dissolve cornstarch in water and add to sauce. Pour sauce over ribs and bake.
