SNOW PUDDING WITH CUSTARD SAUCE 
1 packet unflavored gelatin
1/2 c. cold water
1 1/2 c. hot water
1/4 c. lemon juice
1 c. sugar
1 egg, separated
1/2 tsp. cornstarch
1 c. milk
1/4 tsp. vanilla

In medium bowl sprinkle gelatin over cold water to soften. Add hot water, lemon juice and 3/4 cup sugar. Stir until gelatin is dissolved. Chill until slightly thickened. In small bowl beat egg white to stiff. Set aside.

Beat gelatin mixture until very white and frothy - fold in egg white. Refrigerate until firm.

CUSTARD SAUCE:

Beat egg yolk, cornstarch and remaining 1/4 cup sugar together. Gradually stir in milk. Heat slowly, stirring constantly until mixture thickens and coats spoon. Add vanilla. Cool. Serve over snow pudding. Great dessert after big meal!
