2 c. sugar
1/2 c. milk
1/2 c. butter (one cube)
1/3 c. cocoa (or carob)
3 c. oatmeal
1/2 c. flaked coconut
1 tsp. vanilla

Combine sugar, milk, butter and cocoa. Bring to a boil, stirring constantly. Boil 1 minute. Remove from heat. Add rest of ingredients. Drop on wax paper. Makes 30 cookies.
