WILD RICE HAMBURGER CASSEROLE | |
2 c. boiling water 2-3 c. uncooked washed wild rice 1 (10 1/2 oz.) can chicken rice soup 1 sm. can mushrooms, undrained 1/2 c. water 1 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. each celery, garlic salt & paprika 1 sm. onion, chopped 1 lb. hamburger Pour boiling water over rice, cover and let stand for 15 minutes. Drain. Place rice in 2 quart casserole and add soup, mushrooms with liquid, water and seasonings. Mix gently and let stand for a few minutes. Brown hamburger and onions together and add to casserole. Cover and bake at 325 degrees for 2 hours. Serves 4. |
