HAM-CHEESE GRITS 
1 1/2 c. instant grits
6 c. boiling water
1 lb. grated sharp cheese
1 1/2 sticks butter
3 tsp. savory salt
Dash Tabasco sauce
1 c. chopped ham
3 eggs, beaten
Dash of paprika

Sprinkle grits into boiling water, lower heat and cook 3 to 5 minutes. Add other ingredients, except eggs and cook until melted. Gently fold in beaten eggs and pour into large buttered casserole. Sprinkle with paprika. Bake 1 hour at 350 degrees.
