TOMATO SOUP 
3 tbsp. butter
1/2 c. chopped onion
1 (6 oz.) can tomato paste
3-4 plum tomatoes, peeled and finely chopped
1 tsp. dill
Salt and pepper to taste
1 c. chicken broth

Saute onion in melted butter. Puree tomato paste, onion, and 1 cup chicken broth in blender. Combine all ingredients in pot and cook until hot. Garnish with sour cream and-or croutons. May be prepared ahead.
