SCOTCH SHORTBREAD | |
1 c. butter 1/2 c. sugar 2 c. sifted all purpose flour Granulated sugar Cream butter and sugar thoroughly. Gradually stir in flour. Spread into a 9 x 9 inch ungreased pan. Bake at 350 degree oven for about 20 minutes or until lightly browned. Cool for about 10-15 minutes and cut into squares. May dust with granulated sugar, if desired. Makes about 36 cookies. |
