CUCUMBER RELISH | |
10-12 cucumbers 2 Spanish onions or 6 reg. onions Peel, dice cucumbers and onion. Soak in salt water brine overnight. In large pot prepare the following sauce: 1/2 c. flour 3 tsp. dry mustard powder 1 tsp. turmeric Pour 1 cup water and 3 cups white vinegar over top. Stir to blend well. Bring to boil slowly and stir constantly so it does not burn. Once boiled remove from heat. Drain cucumbers and onion well. |
