CHURCH SUPPER SLOPPY JOES 
7 lbs. lean ground beef
1 1/2 c. chopped onion
1 1/2 c. chopped celery
1/2 c. packed brown sugar
2 tbsp. prepared mustard
1 1/2 qts. tomato puree or sauce
1/2 c. vinegar
Salt & pepper to taste
1 1/2 c. shredded cheddar cheese
Hamburger buns

In a large skillet, brown beef, onion and celery. Cook in batches, if necessary. Drain any fat. Add all remaining ingredients except cheese and buns. Cook 10 minutes. Stir in cheese, cook until melted. Serve on buns. Makes 50 servings. Can be frozen in batches for future use.
