SEVEN LAYER CASSEROLE 
1 c. uncooked rice
1 (8 oz.) can whole kernel corn, drained
2 (8 oz.) cans tomato sauce
1/2 c. chopped onion
1/2 c. chopped green pepper
1/2 c. chopped celery
1 lb. ground round
4 strips bacon

In a 3 quart casserole with a tight fitting lid, layer ingredients in the following order: First layer put uncooked rice in casserole; second layer add 1 can whole kernel corn, drained. Sprinkle with salt and pepper. Third layer, pour into casserole 1 can tomato sauce and 1/2 can water. Fourth layer add onion, green pepper and celery. Fifth layer add uncooked ground beef and season with salt and pepper. Sixth layer, pour in 2nd can of tomato sauce, cut bacon strips in half and lay over casserole.

Bake covered at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. Uncover and bake 30 minutes longer, or until bacon is crisp.
