1 c. butter
1 c. oil
1 c. sugar
1 c. powdered sugar
1 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. cream of tartar
4 1/2 c. flour
3 eggs

Cream together the first four ingredients. Now add 3 eggs and cream real good. Add soda, cream of tartar and flour. This is a soft dough. Drop by teaspoonfuls on ungreased cookie sheet and flatten slightly with a fork.

Bake in 375°F oven for 10 to 12 minutes.
