MOLASSES - GINGER COOKIES 
3/4 c. shortening
1 c. sugar
1 egg
4 tbsp. molasses
2 c. flour
2 tsp. baking soda
1 tsp. ginger
1 tsp. cinnamon

Cream shortening and sugar. Add egg and molasses, sift dry ingredients together and add. Roll into balls. Dip one side in sugar. Press with fork. Bake at 350 degrees for 8 to 10 minutes.
