1 lb. ground beef 1 lb. ground pork 6 c. water 2 1/2 c. pin head oatmeal 1 onion chopped 1-4 bay leaves 2 tsp. salt Put water, salt in slow cooker. Cover; heat on high 20 minutes. Stir in pinhead oats, cover; cook on high 1 1/2 hours. Add meat, onion and bay leaves. Mix well. Cover and cook on low 3 hours. Uncover; cook longer if not thick. Pour into bread pans. Refrigerate when cool. To cook; slice and fry until browned on no-stick griddle or use cooking spray. |
