OATMEAL CAKE 
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1 c. quick cooking oatmeal
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. Wesson oil
1 1/2 c. flour
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. white sugar
2 whole eggs
1 tsp. baking soda

Pour boiling water over oatmeal. Set aside. Mix together brown sugar, Wesson oil, flour, salt, white sugar, whole eggs and soda. Mix all together and bake at 375°F for 30 minutes.

Icing:

1 stick butter
1 c. brown sugar
1/2 c. canned milk
1 c. coconut

Place in saucepan butter, brown sugar, canned milk and coconut. Cook until thick. Pour over cake.
