CREME DE MENTHE KISSES 
4 egg whites
1/2 tsp. cream of tartar
Dash of salt
1 tbsp. creme de menthe
Green food coloring
1 c. sugar
1 (6 oz.) pkg. tiny chocolate chips

Separate egg whites while cold, then bring to room temperature so they will whip to fullest. Add cream of tartar, salt, and creme de menthe with a drop of coloring. Beat until frothy; gradually add sugar and continue beating to very stiff peaks. Meringue should be glossy, not dry. Add bits while dropping by teaspoon onto baking sheet covered with foil. Preheat oven to 275 degrees and bake for 35 minutes. Makes a lot.
