GERMAN CHOCOLATE POUND CAKE 
2 sticks real butter, softened
3 c. sugar
1/2 c. oil
5 eggs
3 c. flour
1/2 tsp. baking powder
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. milk
1 tsp. vanilla
1 bar German chocolate
1 c. black walnuts

ICING:

1/3 c. milk
3 c. confectioners' sugar
1/8 tsp. salt
4 squares unsweetened chocolate
1/2 stick butter
1 tsp. vanilla

Cream butter and sugar. Add oil and eggs, one at a time. Mix all dry ingredients and add alternating with the milk. Add vanilla. Add melted bar of chocolate and nuts. Pour into greased and floured cake pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 1 hour and 15 minutes.

ICING: Bring milk to boil and sugar and salt. Stir well. Melt chocolate and butter in microwave or double boiler. Add to sugar mixture. Then add vanilla. Pour over cake.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
