COCONUT SUPREME CAKE 
1 c. butter
2 c. sugar
4 eggs
3 cups self-rising flour
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. milk

Melt butter and sugar. Add eggs 1 at a time to sugar mixture. Add flour 1 cup at a time, then rest of ingredients. Makes 4 layers.

Bake 325 degrees until done.

Frosting:

4 egg whites
1 3/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
6 tbsp. water
2 tsp. vanilla
7 oz. coconut

Combine all ingredients except coconut in top of double boiler. After water comes to a boil, beat with mixer for 10 minutes or until icing forms a peak! Let layers cool. Spread with icing and coconut.
