CRAZY CRUST APPLE PIE 
1 c. flour
3/4 c. water
1/2 tsp. salt
1 c. sugar
1 tsp. cinnamon
1 tsp. baking powder
2 tbsp. sugar
2/3 c. shortening
8 apples, sliced
1 tbsp. lemon juice

Combine flour, baking powder, water, sugar, salt, and shortening and beat well for 2 minutes. Spread batter in deep dish 9 or 10-inch pie pan. Combine and add small amount of water to the sugar and apples and cook until tender. Add to apples and spoon onto batter the cinnamon and lemon juice. Bake at 425 degrees for 40-45 minutes.
