STRAWBERRY BUTTERMILK SALAD 
1 (6 oz.) pkg. strawberry gelatin
1 (#2, lg.) can crushed pineapple, undrained
2 c. buttermilk
1 c. coconut
1 c. chopped walnuts
1 (9 oz.) carton Cool Whip

Combine pineapple with gelatin in pan over low heat until gelatin dissolves. Add buttermilk and stir well. Add coconut, walnuts and Cool Whip. Mix well and let stand overnight in refrigerator (or at least 4 hours). Cut into squares from flat dish and serve on lettuce leaf. Serves 12.
