YELLOW ANGEL FOOD CAKE 
6 egg yolks
6 egg whites
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. orange or lemon extract
1/4 tsp. almond
1/2 tsp. vanilla
3/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1/2 c. cold water
1/4 tsp. salt

Have all ingredients at room temperature. Beat egg yolks until thick and lemon colored. Add cold water and beat until thick. Add sugar gradually then extracts. Fold in flour sifted with salt a little at a time.

Beat egg whites until foamy, add cream of tartar and beat until they hold a point. Fold into egg yolk mixture. Bake in ungreased tube pan in slow oven, 350 degrees, for 1 hour.
