RAISIN FRUITY COOKIES 
1/2 c. shortening
1/4 c. butter
1/4 c. sugar
1/4 c. brown sugar
1 egg
1 tsp. vanilla
1 c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. cinnamon
1/4 tsp. salt
2 1/2 c. fruit rings or fruit loops
2/3 c. raisins

Cream shortening, both sugars, and butter until fluffy. Mix in egg and vanilla. Combine flour, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt. Add to creamed mixture. Blend thoroughly.

Stir in fruit rings or loops and raisins. Drop by level teaspoons onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 degrees for 8-10 minutes. Let stand one minute before removing from cookie sheet. Makes 3 1/2 dozen cookies.
