RAISIN PIE 
1 1/2 c. sugar
1 heaping tbsp. flour
Butter, size of an egg
1 c. buttermilk
1 tbsp. vinegar
1 tsp. spice
1 tsp. cloves
3 egg yolks (reserve whites)
1 c. chopped raisins

Combine above ingredients and put in uncooked pie shell. Bake 45 minutes at 350 degrees. Cool. Beat reserved egg whites until stiff peaks form. Spread over pie, place under broiler until peaks are brown.
