PECAN PIE SQUARES 
Crust:

2 c. all-purpose flour
1/4 c. sugar
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 c. butter, melted

Combine crust ingredients in mixing bowl. Blend with electric mixer on medium speed. Press crust mixture firmly into a greased 9 x 13 x 2-inch pan.

Bake at 350°F for 20 minutes or until golden brown.

Filling:

3 eggs, lightly beaten
1 c. sugar
1 c. light corn syrup
2 tbsp. butter
1 tsp. vanilla
2 c. chopped pecans

Combine filling ingredients in order listed. Pour over baked crust; return to oven.

Bake at 350°F for 25 to 28 minutes or until filling is set. Cool completely on wire rack before cutting into 2-inch squares.

Makes 24 squares.
