PRALINE LOUISIANA YAMS | |
1/2 c. brown sugar 1/2 c. heavy cream 2 tbsp. butter 1/2 c. chopped pecans 1/4 tsp. salt 1/4 tsp. BLAIR cinnamon 1/4 tsp. BLAIR nutmeg 3 (1 lb.) cans yams, heated & drained or 6 yams, cooked, peeled & quartered Place sugar, cream, butter, pecans, salt, cinnamon and nutmeg in thick 1 quart saucepan. Stir over low heat for 7 minutes or until ingredients blend and form heavy syrup. Pour over hot yams in serving dish. Yields: 6 servings. |
