BEER BATTER CHICKEN 
1 3/4 cups all-purpose flour
1 1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
1 (12 oz.) can beer
oil, for frying
2 cut-up whole chickens

Mix flour, salt and pepper in bowl. Beat in beer until smooth. Let stand approximately 30 minutes.

Pour oil in deep fry pan. Heat oil on high heat, then lower. Dip chicken pieces in batter. Cover completely. Fry until chicken is done. Drain on paper towels. Serve with salad or favorite side.
