1 1/2 c. white or brown sugar
1 c. butter
2 eggs
1 1/2 c. raisins, soaked in water for 5 min.
2 c. sweetened applesauce
1 c. nuts, chopped
3 c. flour
2 1/2 tsp. baking soda
2 tsp. cinnamon
1/2 tsp. cloves
1 tsp. vanilla

Mix in order given. Bake 45 minutes in 9 x 13 pan at 350 degrees.
