JANET'S PRUNE CAKE 
3 eggs
1 c. Wesson oil
1 1/2 c. sugar
2 c. self-rising flour
1 c. buttermilk
2 c. nuts (pecans)
1 c. cooked prunes
20 chopped prunes
1 tsp. each cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice & vanilla

Mix eggs, sugar, then add oil, dry ingredients, then buttermilk and vanilla. Cook 1 hour or more in greased pan at 350 degrees.

ICING:

1 c. white sugar
1 tsp. white syrup
1 stick butter
1/2 c. buttermilk
1/2 tsp. baking soda
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Boil until soft. Pour over warm cake.
