CANADIAN MEAT PIE 
1 1/2 lbs. hamburger
1/2 lb. ground pork
1 c. onions, chopped
3/4 c. mashed potatoes
4 slices dried bread
1 1/2 c. hot water (or wine)
3 beef bouillon cubes
1/2 tsp. salt
1/2 tsp. pepper
2 tsp. Worcestershire sauce
1/4 tsp. ground thyme
1/4 tsp. ground marjoram
1/4 tsp. ground cloves
1/4 tsp. ground cinnamon
Unbaked pie crust & top layer

Cook meat and onion in skillet until onions are soft. Add seasonings, bouillon, hot water and let stand for a few minutes. Add meat mixture and potatoes. Cook until thick. Line a pie tin or plate with an unbaked pie crust. Add meat mixture. Cover with top layer of crust. Bake at 400 degrees until crust is done, at least a half hour.
