CREME DE MENTHE SQUARES 
1 c. sugar
1 c. flour
4 eggs
1/2 c. butter, softened
1 tsp. vanilla
1/2 tsp. salt
1 (16 oz.) can chocolate syrup

MINT LAYER:

2 c. 10X sugar
1/4 c. butter, softened
2 tbsp. creme de menthe

Mix cake; pour into greased and floured 13 x 9 inch pan. Bake at 350 degrees for 30 minutes. (Use toothpick test to check if done.) Cool completely.

Mix mint layer ingredients and spread over cooled cake; chill.

GLAZE:

6 oz. chocolate chips (1 c.)
6 tbsp. butter

Mix and melt glaze. Cool. Spread over mint layer. Chill for 1 hour or until chocolate is hard. Cut at room temperature. Store in refrigerator.
