TAFFY APPLE SALAD 
2 c. Granny Smith apples, wedged and chopped
2 c. Red Delicious apples, wedges and chopped
1 1/2 c. peanuts
1 Dole pineapple tidbits
1/2 c. sugar
1 tbsp. flour
1 1/2 tbsp. white vinegar
1 egg
1 (8 oz.) Cool Whip

Drain pineapple. Mix the juice with sugar, flour, vinegar, and egg. Cook a few minutes until mixture bubbles. Let cool and refrigerate overnight. The next day add the caramelized mixture to the remaining ingredients and stir altogether. Everyone loves it!
