FRESH CORN SAUTE 
4 c. fresh corn (5 to 6 ears)
2 tbsp. butter
1/8 c. minced onion
2 tsp. cornstarch
1/4 tsp. pepper
1/2 tsp. salt
1 tsp. sugar
3/4 c. milk

Cut corn from cob and measure. Melt butter; add onion and corn. Cook 1 minute, stirring. Mix in cornstarch, pepper, salt and sugar. Pour milk into corn mixture. Simmer 20 minutes, stirring frequently to prevent corn from sticking. Serves 4 to 5.
