STACK A BISCUIT STROGANOFF | |
1 lb. ground beef 1 can french fried onion rings (Durkee) 1 can cream of mushroom soup 1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms 1 c. sour cream 1 egg 1 container 10 refrigerator biscuits buttermilk or flaky Preheat 375 degree oven. Brown beef and drain, combine beef, drained mushrooms and 3/4 of onion rings in 2 1/2 quart or 3 quart casserole dish or 10 inch pan. In medium sauce pan heat soup until bubbly, remove from heat and mix in 1/2 cup sour cream. Pour over meat mixture. Separate and cut in half biscuits. Place cut side down around casserole. Sprinkle remaining onion rings over top. Combine 1/2 cup sour cream with egg. Pour over top and bake 20 to 30 minutes until deep golden brown. Serves 5 to 6. |
