STACK A BISCUIT STROGANOFF 
1 lb. ground beef
1 can french fried onion rings (Durkee)
1 can cream of mushroom soup
1 (4 oz.) can mushrooms
1 c. sour cream
1 egg
1 container 10 refrigerator biscuits buttermilk or flaky

Preheat 375 degree oven. Brown beef and drain, combine beef, drained mushrooms and 3/4 of onion rings in 2 1/2 quart or 3 quart casserole dish or 10 inch pan. In medium sauce pan heat soup until bubbly, remove from heat and mix in 1/2 cup sour cream. Pour over meat mixture. Separate and cut in half biscuits. Place cut side down around casserole. Sprinkle remaining onion rings over top. Combine 1/2 cup sour cream with egg. Pour over top and bake 20 to 30 minutes until deep golden brown. Serves 5 to 6.

My mom has been making this for years and I have been making it, also. This is so awesome, but it takes way longer than 20 to 30 minutes to cook... probably more like 40-45 minutes, if you want the biscuits done. Great stuff!

Love this dish. My mom had an old school Betty Crocker recipe box from the '70s and one of the recipes in there was this recipe she made it and I started making it with my kids... Now make it for my grandkids!!! Kisner family
