DOLLY'S FAVORITE SHOO FLY PIE 
CAKE PART:

3/4 c. shortening
2 c. brown sugar
4 c. flour
1/4 tsp. salt
1 tsp. baking powder
1 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. boiling water
1/2 c. molasses

BOTTOM PART:

1 1/2 c. molasses
2/3 c. hot water
Pinch baking soda

CAKE PART: Mix shortening, brown sugar, flour, salt and baking powder well. Take out about 1 cup for crumbs. Add to cake part baking soda, boiling water and molasses.

BOTTOM PART: Mix molasses, hot water and baking soda in another bowl. Roll out dough for two pies. Equally divide bottom part into the two pie shells. Spoon on top cake part and top with crumbs. Bake at 350 degrees for about 45 minutes.
