SHOO-FLY PIE 
3/4 c. molasses
1 1/2 c. light brown sugar
2 eggs
1 1/2 tsp. baking soda
1 1/2 c. cold water

SECOND SET:

2 1/2 c. flour
1/3 c. shortening (Crisco)
3/4 c. light brown sugar

Mix together first set of ingredients in mixer. Pour into an unbaked pie shell.

Cut together second set of ingredients with pastry cutter until mixture is crumbly. Sprinkle on top of pie. Bake for 45 minutes to 1 hour at 375 degrees. Makes 1 very large pie.

It's a wet-bottom pie with "lots of good" and a lot of cake. Not many crumbs. It's the old-fashioned kind.
