SHEPHERD'S PIE 
1 lb. ground beef
1/2 onion, diced
Salt, chile powder, pepper to taste
1 can corn, drained
1 can cut green beans, drained
1 can tomato soup
8 servings instant mashed potatoes, prepared
2 c. grated cheese

Cook together beef and onion; drain fat. Add seasonings and mix. Place in 2 quart casserole dish. Add corn and green beans. Spread undiluted tomato soup over all. Add mashed potatoes, then sprinkle cheese on top. Bake in oven for 30 minutes at 350 degrees.

Microwave directions: Leave cheese off and microwave full power for 10 minutes. Add cheese and microwave an additional 2-5 minutes. Serves 4-6.

Since microwave ovens vary in power, you may need to adjust your cooking time.
