SAUERKRAUT CHOCOLATE CAKE | |
2 1/4 c. flour 1/2 c. cocoa 1 tsp. baking powder 1 tsp. baking soda 1/4 tsp. salt 2/3 c. butter 1 1/2 c. sugar 3 eggs 1 c. water or coffee 1 tsp. vanilla 2/3 c. sauerkraut Combine dry ingredients. Cream butter and sugar. Add 3 eggs, one at a time. Combine 1 cup water or coffee and 1 teaspoon vanilla and add to creamed mixture. Along with flour mixture add 2/3 cup sauerkraut, rinsed, drained and coarsely chopped. Bake at 350 degrees for 25 minutes in greased 13 x 9 inch pan. |
